Artificial Intelligence and Human Responsibility Minor

The College of Arts and Letters’ minor in Artificial Intelligence and Human Responsibility enablesyou to investigate and understand the ethical, environmental, and social implications of this new technology. Given the increasing ubiquity of artificial intelligence in business, education, and technology fields, this minor will offer an ideal complement to other SDSU majors and encourage more contextual, interdisciplinary, and equitable inquiry of a technology whose wider impacts otherwise might go unconsidered.

Courses in the minor may not count toward the major but may be applied to preparation for the major and general education requirements, if applicable. At least six upper-division units must be completed in residence at San Diego State University.

The minor in Artificial Intelligence and Human Responsibility consists of a minimum of 19 units.
