HumTech; where humanity and technology convergeHŪMTECH is an emerging initiative led by CAL, designed to address questions facing SDSU and society today.

By providing a sustained hub for existing work like Big Data Science and Digital Humanities, plus future projects, HŪMTECH will advance collective conversation, spur research collaborations, and support student learning.

HŪMTECH will amplify opportunities for students and encourage innovative course offerings that integrate emerging technologies with deep considerations of history, culture, policy, and identity. It provides the initial catalyst for longer-term curricular and organizational change in CAL and beyond.
