Bio
Brett Warnke earned his MFA at SDSU after earning his M.A. at The New School for Social Research and a B.A. at Indiana University, Bloomington. He worked as a proud public school teacher in Greater New Orleans as well as Gary, Indiana and San Diego.
Brett is a writer of fiction. He can often be seen snooping through thrift stores, haggling at used book shops and swap meets. He also rambles along cliffs with a walking stick when he’s not sermonizing about the necessity of reading J.G. Ballard, Steven Milhauser, Horacio Moya, and Jenny Erpenbeck in his classes filled with future YouTube stars.
