Bio
Betsy Robertson graduated with her B.A. in Journalism from the University of South Carolina in 2000, and earned her MFA in Creative Writing from San Diego State in 2020. She served as a member of the Lower Division Writing Committee in the RWS department from 2019-2020 and taught as a TA for the department for two years. Betsy’s poetry has been featured in various journals, and she has written two poetry books, "This Woman is Haunted" (2020) and "Dragon in my Purse" (2021). She was a finalist for the Rash Award in Poetry through Broad River Review.
When not reading world literature, poetry or a crime novel, Betsy is probably watching her sons on the soccer field, relaxing on the beach or catching up on Netflix binges.
