Bio
Debra earned her Ph.D. in English from UC Irvine, where she specialized in the Romantic period. Prior to coming to California, she attended Emory University in Atlanta, earning a B.A. in English and a M.A. in Comparative Literature with a focus on narrative and trauma. She enjoys working closely with students and helping them develop their confidence as thinkers and writers. In addition to teaching, Debra works as a writing coach at her company Rosette Pathways where she guides clients through the graduate application process.
