Women
in Politics: Electing to Lead, a training program offered by the
SDSU College of Arts and Letters
The College of Arts and Letters at San Diego State University, in cooperation with its Women’s Studies and Political Science Departments, proudly launches “Women In Politics: Electing to Lead.”
SDSU is one of only a handful of universities across the nation to offer high-caliber, focused, political training for women. This non-partisan program consists of two tracks. One (Track 1: "Mastery of the Media") will provide experienced women candidates, or officeholders, with the specific skills required to advance their political ambitions through savvy use of the media. The second track (Track 2: "Political Careers") is an entry-level course to encourage both women and men to consider careers in the political arena.
