give to calThe College of Arts and Letters currently employees over two-hundred tenured/ tenure-track faculty and over two-hundred and fifty lecturers; teaching close to 1,700 classes per semester, the Arts and Letters faculty are some of the hardest working at SDSU.

In addition to teaching, faculty engage in scholarly research that is both unique and diversified.  They have developed both a national and an international reputation for excellence in teaching and cutting edge research.

Congratulations to Rebecca Moore, for receiving an award from the San Diego State University Alumni Association for Outstanding Faculty Contributions! Rebecca is currently a professor and the chair of Religious Studies.
