Welcome to the Third Annual SoCal Philosophy Conference in San Diego!

The Conference highlights philosophy in the Southern California region (including the San Diego and Los Angeles areas). Papers from outside the region are also welcome, space permitting. All philosophic topics are welcome. Presentations will occur in three separate divisions: (1) faculty/peers, (2) graduate students, (3) undergraduate students.
Call for Papers
- Submissions should be no more than 4,000-5,000 words, and presentation length should be 30 minutes, to allow for Q&A following the presentation.
- All philosophic topics are welcome.
- Poster submissions may also be submitted.
- We use an open review format. Submit papers, and separate abstracts of 100-150 words, by email to: SoCalphilconf@gmail.com. Be sure to include the following information: your name, conference category (faculty/peer, graduate student, undergraduate student), institutional affiliation, and contact email.
Deadline to submit: July 15
Presenters will be informed of their acceptance by July 30.
Some of the conference presentations will be selected, at the discretion of the conference organizers, to be submitted for possible publication. Author approval will be required before any material is submitted for publication.
